Jill Ransbottom began her career working with her family’s development and construction firm, specializing in big box retail, supermarkets and Shopping center development. She has over 20 years of development, construction and general contracting experience in commercial, retail, restaurant, office, and industrial markets. She is equally at home with ground-up construction and renovations. Jill has worked on projects for clients as diverse as Bloomingdale’s, Mitchell Gold Bob Williams Furniture, MOMA, Darden Restaurant Group, Islip Central School District, Prada and Broadway.com.

Prior to opening J Squared Contractors, Jill spent 13 years as principal and vice president with a New York based construction firm, where she led the company’s retail team, working with many of the top US and European brands in the industry. Before this, Jill was senior project manager with a Long Island general contractor active in public and private projects.
